STYLE GUIDE

SENIORS

-First things first, stick to your style. It's important the photos express yourself, to look back at this stage of life and not see what was in style or trending but to see YOU.

-Wear outfits that compliment you. Think of your figure, skin tone and what colors you feel emphasize you the most. Confidence can be easily seem in a photo.

-I recommend you lean more towards neutral tones. If you love color than of course wear an outfit that has a little pop of color, just make sure its not too busy and stray away from worded shirts, it distracts the eye from you.

-Pack outfits that bring different vibes. More casual outfits and more dressed up outfits. Don't be shy to pack extra outfits too, that way you can pick and choose in the moment.

COUPLES

-Wear something that expresses who you are as a couple. So if you don't like to dress up as a couple then don't in the photos. If you love to dress up then don't go casual for the photos. Be confident in your uniqueness as a couple.
-Compliment each other but don't match exactly. Pick a color scheme together and stick to it. I don't recommended busy patterns or worded shirts.

-Try to stay in more earthy tones. Bright neon colors don't edit as well and won't compliment your skin tone. It's important people first see the two of you in love and not a bright neon outfit.

-Choose colors that will go well in your house, so when you hang these up one day it will match perfectly.

-Just be your goofy and in love selves. Joy can be seen in photos.

FAMILIES

-I know finding outfits for a group of people can be stressful so I would recommend picking an outfit for one person to start.  Find one outfit you truly love on that person and work around it for everyone else.

-I suggest you stick to earth toned themes. When you have more people you especially don't want some people to have distracting outfits. You just want the photo to scream were one, big, matching family:)

-Think about the weather and the location.

-Choose colors that will go well in your house so when you hang these up one day, it will match perfectly.

-Come as you are. I don't expect (or honestly want) a perfectly picture perfect family. Whether you have one kid or ten kids dont shy away. Sometimes the beauty of family life is the loudness and what you would label as "craziness." I'm here to capture every special moment, so when you look back after years you will see your family as themselves.
